The Flashlight Experience

This is our General Admission ticket. We’ll hand you a flashlight at the door — you just bring yourself. Explore one of the world’s largest collections of haunted and paranormal artifacts, from cursed relics to true crime items to historical treasures, spread across 14.5 exhibits. The museum is well-lit throughout, so your flashlight is there to set the mood, not to help you see.

Come face-to-face with the real Annabelle. Explore items from the Amityville haunting, The Devil Made Me Do It case, The Conjuring House, the Bridgeport Poltergeist, and Ed and Lorraine Warren’s personal collection.

Discover haunted dolls, occult relics, serial killer artifacts, ancient civilizations, and rare pieces never before displayed publicly.

Every room tells a different story, every artifact carries its own history, and every turn of your flashlight reveals another chapter inside one of the most extraordinary museums ever created.

VIP: Photo With Annabelle Experience

This VIP experience includes the self-guided flashlight tour, plus an exclusive opportunity to have your photo taken with the real Annabelle.

Explore the museum at your own pace up to 1 hour under the glow of your flashlight, then conclude your experience with a personal photo session with Annabelle, captured and uploaded by our team.

Each guest gets 1 solo photo + 1 couple/group photo. All guests much purchase VIP to have photos with Annabelle.

Photos are done by a professional photographer on a high quality camera and uploaded a few hours after your experience.

Each guest also receives a free limited edition mystery gift.

100% of proceeds go directly toward the preservation and restoration of haunted and/or historic properties.

*Guests must be at least 12 years old in order to participate in the tour. Guests aged 12 through 17 must be accompanied by a ticketed parent or guardian.

Know Before You Go +−
  • No Phones, Cameras, Video or Audio Recording Devices of any kind are permitted for use in the museum. No exceptions. If any device is seen being used in the museum, the guest will immediately be asked to leave.
  • Please be aware that the museum does contain fog, flickering lights and other effects. There are no jump scares or haunt actors.
  • No large bags, outside food or drink allowed in the building. We have a bag drop area near security (HWM is not liable for bag issues)
  • We are a drug, alcohol and firearm free facility.
  • Guests will be given a flashlight at the beginning of their experience and must return it at the end.
  • We reserve the right to deny entry or removal from the museum, without refund, if anyone is deemed a risk to others or the items within the museum due to substance intoxication, aggression, or violation of the rules.

  • All Guests Must Arrive No Less Than 10 Minutes Prior to Ticketed Entry Time to the designated entrance and check-in area. Entry to the museum is not guaranteed for late arrivals. No refunds, rescheduling or exchanges are permitted.
  • We are located at 259 Essex Street in Salem MA 01970 next to Blackcraft Cult.
  • We do not provide parking. Parking is extremely difficult to find in Salem, please take that into account when traveling here. See our FAQ for tips.
  • The entrance to the museum is in the back of the building via Barton Square. Please follow the signs upon arrival and do not attempt to enter via Essex Street.
  • The entrance is adjacent to a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful when entering and exiting the museum.
  • The 4,000 Square Foot Brick Building is the former Merchant-Warren Bank built in 1908.
